Family, Friends and Food
Eid al-Fitr is all about being together with family and friends. People greet each other with ‘Eid Mubarak’, which means a blessed holiday in Arabic. After prayer everyone comes together to eat and exchange eid gifts. It’s tradition to visit the eldest family members' home and bring sweets and gifts.
As said before, food is very important during Eid al-Fitr. The most delicious things are made to celebrate the end of the fast. Shashuka, tajine dishes, date cookies, chebakia (fried dough with honey) and lots and lots more.
Eid Mubarak!
Family, friends, good food and eid gifts. These are the ingredients for a smashing Eid al-Fitr celebration. Good luck during Ramadan and have a lovely Eid al-Fitr this year. Eid Mubarak!
